Master Planning Experience

       

Project:  Cecil Field Commerce Center
Client: Jacksonville Economic Development Commission (JEDC) and Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA)
Location:  Duval County, Florida

ERS continues to assist JEDC and JAA with Master Planning efforts at Cecil Commerce Center. Our services include delineating jurisdictional wetlands on approximately 5,000 acres, conducting a Formal Jurisdictional Determination and assisting in the development of an updated Development Master Plan. Ongoing tasks involve tracking all mitigation activities related to the numerous construction permits/projects, coordinating with both JEDC and JAA on future permitting and mitigation needs and acting as a liaison between the State and Federal resource and regulatory agencies.

Project:  Dutton Island Intracoastal Waterway Preserve
Client: Cities of Jacksonville and Atlantic Beach
Location:  Atlantic Beach, Florida

ERS assisted the design team, headed by Landers-Atkins Planners, by conducting the wildlife service tasks required by the existing management plan and providing ideas and feedback about the preserve to Atlantic Beach.  ERS was also tasked with attending public hearings to address environmental concerns.

Project:  General Aviation Airport Wildlife Plan Review
Client: Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA)
Location:  Duval County, Florida

As a sub-contractor to Environmental Resource Management (ERM), ERS assists JAA in reviewing the wildlife management plans at the General Aviation airports, including Craig, Cecil, and Herlong Airports.  The reviews include field assessments and preparation of a final audit report for each airport.

Master Planning Experience

       

Project:  Lake Asbury Area Master Development Plan
Client: Clay County
Location:  Clay County, Florida

As a subcontractor to Prosser Hallock, Inc., ERS conducted environmental services for this major 18,000-acre Master Plan study. The project area is bordered by Black Creek, Peters Creek and State Road 16. The project purpose was to produce a Master Development Plan to guide future development in the Lake Asbury study area. ERS assessed the entire study area to identify high quality wetland and upland systems and areas supporting protected species/habitat. ERS' staff attended and participated in numerous public meetings.
